TIGERBALL 

A new innovative approach to junior water polo encouraging  new young players

1. 2022 Term 1 Start dates

• Friday, 4 February 2022
• 7 weeks - to 18 March 2022
• Dawn Fraser Baths (In case of heavy rain or pool closure, we will communicate an alternative location)

2. Cost

• $125 per participant for Term 1 Tigerball program (pool entry not included)
• 50% discount for current Balmain players (register logged into your account)
• Players from any club or school can participate
• Individual entries

3. Session Structure

• From 5:00PM to 5:40PM >>> Year 2 to Year 4 (Born 2014 - 2011)

• From 5:45PM to 6:30PM >>> Year 5 to Year 7 (Born 2011 - 2009)
• 40 minutes each session

4. Skills & Competition

• Participants will be divided into groups and play a round robin competition with finals (last week).

• There will be an emphasis on skills and development.

• Each team will play a minimum of 7 games.

5. Who can play

• All children 8 years and over are welcome

• Competent swimmers are preferred (swim 20m unassisted).

6. Coaches

Kids will have an unforgettable experience, having the opportunity to work with UTS Balmain Water Polo Club accredited coaches, UTS BWPC Australian Water Polo League players as well as Australian Olympians.

7. Where

Dawn Fraser Baths - it is a tidal salt water pool with its own sandy beach at low tide.

Parents can enjoy a drink and the BBQ will be running.

In case of heavy rain or pool closure, we will communicate an alternative location or make up session.
