New COVID -19 Restrictions and Water Polo

18 August - The Health Department has issued new Health orders for Community sport.

Please support us by following our COVID-19 Safe plan.

All participants MUST be enrolled for the training session - breaching this may cost the Club a hefty fine. Any sign of being unwell - STAY AWAY.

Listed below are suggestions from Water Polo NSW

WHAT DO THE NEW RESTRICTIONS MEAN FOR OUR CLUB ?

  • Training can continue as per usual following the Club COVID-19 Safety plan
  • Do not hold any pre season functions/fundraisers/ BBQs
  • Follow the Come. Play. Leasve good practice
  • Keep the training to one pool
  • Avoid excess bodies in or around the pool

WHAT DO THE RESTRICTIONS MEAN FOR OUR MEMBERS ?

  • Consider how your actions may affect others
  • Parents/Guardians cannot attend training as spectators
  • If you or a member of your household should show any symptoms, get tested and avoid going out in the community
  • If you live in a NSW hotspots reconsider participating in community sport for the time being.
  • Practice good hygiene before and after participating in sport. Wash your hands and sanitise your equipment
